Leiria Rally 2 Gold Challenge
A competition integrated in the usual route prepared in the Leiria Municipal Stadium, destined only to models of Rally 2 category and with monetary prizes for the top three. A challenge for drivers on a track with thousands of spectators and great competitiveness.
In 2023, the best national drivers were present in the competition: Ricardo Teodósio, Pedro Meireles, Adruzilo Lopes, Miguel Campos, António Monteiro, Gonçalo Figueiroa e Paulo Peres. At the international level, Kris Meeke and François Delecour were present.
The 2024 edition promises great news and even more excitement in the 11th edition of the biggest automotive event in the Leiria region!
The organization of Leiria Sobre Rodas expanded the sporting event to vehicles in the Rally4 and Rally5 categories, with very attractive prizes for the winners.
As a result of the exponential growth of Two-Wheel Drive cars, the organization of the event decided, in 2023, to include specific tests and prizes for these vehicles from the International Automobile Federation (FIA) pyramid in the program. Thus, Leiria also welcomed the best and most exuberant drivers behind the wheel of Rally4 or Rally5 vehicles who fought for a global prize. The Leiria Rally2 Gold Challenge continues to be the headline event at Leiria Sobre Rodas, with higher prizes.

Em 2017 o Slalom/Super Especial contou com os carros e pilotos que fizeram a história do Rally de Portugal. Destacamos a presença nestas últimas edições dos pilotos:
Characteristics of the Leiria Rally 2 Gold Challenge 2023
• Competition exclusive to R5 vehicles according to the homologation form;
• Possibility of each car to have two drivers
• 3.6km track;
• Each driver will cover about 18km divided into five heats, two qualifying and three classification;
• For classification, the best time between the three qualifying heats will be counted;
• The classification monetary prizes will be divided as follows:
Developed by the Leiria City Hall in partnership with X Racing, the Leiria R2 Gold Challenge is back in this edition. This is a competition integrated in the usual track developed in the Municipal Stadium of Leiria, only for models of the R5 category. A challenge to the drivers along a course with thousands of spectators where great competitiveness is expected.

Leiria Eletric Challenge
Leiria sobre Rodas brings a unique competition in Portugal - the Leiria Eletric Challenge.
LSR Eletric Challenge a unique competition in Portugal dedicated exclusively to electric vehicles in the regular sport mode. It will take place on the route designed by Pedro Matos Chaves on the 29th and 30th of September and will feature vehicles from the official brands present at the event.
